Fantasy Baseball Dugout is proud to have one of the six voting spots in Yardbarker’s Blogger Poll for MLB Power Rankings 2010. In addition to providing our insight on ranking each MLB team 1-30, we also monitor the NL East each week and drop a little insight on each team. See below for our rankings for MLB Week 21. It’s been about 10 weeks or so since we last published our poll. At the time, the Yankees had just taken over the Rays as the top team on the list. Due to going 7-3 in their last 10 games and seeing how they’ve once again tied the Yanks atop the AL East, the Rays once again sit atop our power rankings. Week 12 Two Start Pitchers

Are you two-start pitcher streaming? If not, you’re likely missing out on a great opportunity to increase your weekly strikeout total, win total, log more innings pitched, and potentially lower your team ERA and WHIP in head to head leagues that allow daily lineup changes. USA Today reported on Tuesday that Stephen Strasburg will make his major league debut on June 4, 2010.  The Washington Post also reported that Strasburg will join the Nationals on June 4. And even when we announce it, it’s not going to be settled on until after a couple days after he starts his last start in Triple A.” The Washington Examiner reports that June 8 is the magical date when he’ll face the Pirates in a Saturday night start. Whatever the date, Stephen...

See below for fantasy baseball advice on five players who have had a great start to the season. Should you add them? Should you trade them? Should you keep them? Fantasy Baseball Dugout breaks it down for you. Ubaldo Jimenez, Colorado Rockies: Jimenez leads the Bigs in ERA and is tied with Washington’s Tyler Clippard for the league lead in wins. He threw the first no hitter of the season and has struck out 54 batters in 56.3 innings. He is in the top five of five major NL pitching categories. If you drafted Jimenez around the position 90 in March – then you got him as a steal. In case you need reassurance – Jimenez is for real and a big time keeper. Unless you’re going to get an ace quality pitcher the quality of Roy Halladay, Tim...

In addition to providing our insight on ranking each MLB team 1-30, we also monitor the AL West each week and drop a little insight on each team. See below for our rankings for MLB Week 6. Since it is our responsibility to provide analysis of each AL West team, I’ve sprinkled that throughout the post below, too. Since the last time we published the rankings here on FBD (MLB Week 1), several things have changed – but the top is still very similar. De Rays and Da Yanks have been neck-in-neck for weeks as the league’s best team, and the Phillies are right behind them to round out the top three. Below, in ( ), you...
