When you think of baseball, about the last thing you think of is the month of December.  But, in many ways, December just might be the most interesting, and the most important, months of the year in determining the future of baseball’s top teams. If the Boston Red Sox weren’t part of your World Series thinking prior to baseball’s Winter Meetings, they likely are now.  In a blockbuster deal, the Sox acquired left-hander Chris Sale from the Chicago White Sox for Yoan Moncada and three top prospects–minor league right-handed pitchers Michael Kopech and Victor Diaz and outfielder Luis Alexander Basabe.  The price for Sale was high as Boston needed to depart with power hitting Cuban infielder Moncada.  Moncada had a strong year at Single-A and Double-A and was the top-ranked prospect in all of baseball by Baseball America at...
