Baseball’s Hottest Wives Finalist: Alicia Rickter
Alicia has the benefit of being married to the best baseball player out of our Hottest Wives finalist (she can thank Cynthia Rodriguez for formally dropping out of the contest). She married future Hall of Fame catcher Mike Piazza in 2005.
Under the loosely stated rules of this contest, in order for the beautiful ladies to be considered as a finalist, their husband must have played during the season. Piazza worked out with some teams during spring training this season before formally retiring in May. Last year, he saw action with the Oakland Athletics.
When Piazza played for the New York Mets in the late 90s and early 2000s, and at that time was the premier fantasy baseball catcher. During his career, he hit 396 home runs – most ever for a catcher.
Alicia was born in September 1972, posed for Playboy in October 2005 (the 500th Playmate), and starred in Baywatch Hawaii. Other acting credits include the film Buying the Cow in 2002. Jerry O’Connell was the lead actor in Cow, if that tells you anything about whether or not you should add it to your Netflix queue.
Rickter loves art and the beach. “I really enjoy painting, it can be a very sexy and stimulating experience,” she said in 1997 in Playboy. The beach is also one of Alicia’s favorite places – “fun and sun in the ocean breeze, who could ask for anything more?”
